International Shang Shung Institute for Tibetan studies presents: A unique online workshop featuring deep work with and beyond the mind. Shine meditation is focused on quieting the mind, this training  in calm abiding, can help us to control and work with rather than obsessively follow our thoughts and emotions. Vipassana meditation is aimed at insight, seeing things clearly as they are. What do we recognize? Awareness: the ever-present knowing quality of mind, from which we are never separated for an instant ..Discovering our own awareness allows us to access the natural steadiness and clarity of the mind.

Loch Kelly
M.Div., LCSW. Loch Kelly is the author of the award winning books,The Way of Effortless Mindfulness and Shift into Freedom. Loch studied with Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche in Nepal and he received transmission from Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. Loch is the founder of the non-profit, Open-Hearted Awareness Institute. He is a recognized leader in the field of meditation, psychology and awakening with a degree from Columbia University.

Michael Katz
Michael Katz, M.A and Psy.D degrees in psychology from New York University. He is a long time student of Tibetan Buddhism and has studied with many of the great masters of this age. He is the co-author and editor of the book “Dream Yoga and the Practice of Natural Light” with Chogyal Namkhai Norbu. Michael was authorized to teach dream yoga and meditation by Chogyal Namkhai Norbu. He has taught in more than 20 countries worldwide.
