Dates: Self Paced – Complete before Sept 13th
Join us for this inaugural EM Level Three advanced live training. Become a fully Certified Effortless Mindfulness Facilitator.
Dates: Sept 13th – Jan 10th
In the EM Level One training, you will get an introduction to the map of the Five Levels of Mind. In this overview course, you’ll spend each week exploring a new level of Mind. Loch will provide you with a map, markers, and a method for navigating each level. Developing an experiential understanding of how to safely and fully awaken with Effortless Mindfulness is the first step in your journey.
You’ll also start your glimpsing practice. Glimpsing is the cornerstone practice of EM. They are short shifts of awareness, inquiries, and pointing instructions called Mindful Glimpses. These glimpses serve as your doorway to deeper levels of Mind that yield clarity, confidence, and buoyant compassion. And most importantly, they enable you to discover and gain access to your Awake Aware Mind—the hidden but ever-present dimension within us that can unlock your higher potentials.
In Effortless Mindfulness Level One, you will:
In Effortless Mindfulness Level One, you receive experiential introduction to the map, method, and markers of the Effortless Mindfulness Awakening Process. In particular, EM Level One focuses on the map.
EM Level Two narrows the lens and hones in on the details of the method you’ll need to establish yourself in Awake Mind, Unity Mind, and Heart Mind.
In Level Two, we focus on the method and markers. The key to embodying this new stage of life is to find the distinct doorways and learning style that are best for you.
Why is this important? Because each of us has a different learning style. And every learning style features different supports and different obstacles to awakening.
In EM Level Two, you will learn:
> Students must complete EM Level One & Two to participate
In EM Level Three, we bring it all together. This is the most rigorous of the three training courses. During this training, you’ll learn ways to deeply stabilize your experience of awakening and how to share the Effortless Mindfulness Awakening Process with others. Whether you want to share this by living it, as a helping professional, or as a mindful glimpse meditation facilitator, you’ll experience how sharing EM is one of the best ways of embodying.
Working with Loch directly and with your cohort of peers in small working groups, you’ll learn a concise, methodical, step-by-step system for sharing Effortless Mindfulness. We’ll spend time learning, internalizing, and practicing presentations while clarifying key concepts and themes related to each of the 5 levels. You’ll also learn how to lead the corresponding Mindful Glimpses that help open the doorways of consciousness that allow us to navigate the Five Levels of Mind. Finally, you’ll develop fluency in the essential FAQs that you’ll need to field if and when you are facilitating an EMAP session. EMI will maintain a listing of certified facilitators on this website.
In EM Level Three, you will:
This is for you if you’re an EM Practitioner looking to bring Effortless Mindfulness into your existing therapy, healing, teaching, coaching, leader, trainer or helping professional practice. Whether you’re a meditation teacher, yoga teacher, bodyworker, therapist, coach, or mentor, the Facilitator Certification Track will empower you to share Effortless Mindfulness with others.
We will teach you how to facilitate and introduce this model so you can integrate it into your existing work. Facilitating means sharing the Glimpse practices that are found in Loch Kelly’s books and app from the level of your own experience and understanding. You’ve learned the basics of the EM system and now you know enough to share it with others.
To earn the EMF Certification participants must faithfully attend all sessions, dyads, and peer groups, submit a final video presentation of a guided Mindful Glimpse, and also respond to a frequently asked question in their own words. Upon satisfactory completion of the training, EMI will list your name as a Certified EM Facilitator on the Lochkelly.org website.
As an advanced practitioner of Effortless Mindfulness, you aspire to more fully embody and live from the ground of Awake Mind, Unity Mind, and Heartmind. You appreciate that one of the best ways to learn something is to teach it to others. But your personal goal is not to share EM with others as an EM Facilitator. Instead you want to deepen your practice so that Effortless Mindfulness becomes your default operating system.
Advanced EM Practitioners will receive a certificate of course completion but are not Certified EM Facilitators. You’ll take the same course, but you’re not obliged to complete the EMF certification requirements.

Our aim in to support the thoughtful and effective spread of Effortless Mindfulness. One way we’re doing this is by creating an official listing for Certified EM Facilitators on the Lochkelly.org website. By having your name listed on the site you will:
Effortless Mindfulness is informed by the Internal Family Systems model of therapy. A basic working understanding of IFS is helpful in learning how to internalize, navigate, and flourish across the 5 Levels of Mind. Why is this the case?
Most popular mindfulness programs begin with Everyday Mind and end with Subtle Mind, which is the second level in Loch’s model. Effortless Mindfulness really diverges from other mindfulness paths at Level 3, which is Awake Aware Mind.
This is the ever-present dimension within us that is always awake, calm, clear, and untouched by worry, doubt, shame and fear. This marks the life-changing discovery of consciousness beyond thought-based knowing.
However, moving past awake awareness into the other levels of mind requires some basic understanding of parts work. Why? Because as we traverse the 4th and 5th levels of Mind and Self, parts are going to come up.
And we need to learn how to navigate those parts in the most wholesome and effective way to further heal, liberate, and awaken our own consciousness and so you can live with abiding calm, clarity, and compassion. And it is Levels four and five of the mind that makes the real difference in this model as we integrate our full human experience.
To this end, we will provide you with recommended readings before the course to help you learn the basics of this powerful psychological model of healing and growth.
If you purchase the EM Levels 1, 2, 3 bundle, you’ll have the opportunity to join a peer group in EM Level Three. These peer groups can serve as powerful and alchemical containers to help you further internalize and integrate Effortless Mindfulness while building supportive community and connection.
Because Loch is constantly evolving the Effortless Mindfulness model, each level of training is dependent on the previous one. So you must take EM Level One and Two if you aspire to become an EM certified facilitator or simply wish to take Level 3 for your own development.
Loch feels strongly that EM has the potential to awaken countless others to the healing promise and transformative potential of Awake Aware Mind. And that’s why he’s decided to develop this training cycle and empower others to share Effortless Mindfulness with the world.

Yes, the Advanced Practitioner track is for seasoned meditation practitioners and will help you deepen your practice of Effortless Mindfulness and immersion in Awake Loving Flow.
Bringing Effortless Mindfulness into the sphere of activity by speaking about it and acting from it reveals the areas where we’re not yet fully embodying this teaching. At the heart of this is a shift in perspective where you move from receiving the teaching to being responsible for it on a deeper level. Until we try sharing it with others, there are gaps in our own embodiment that are hard to identify. This is why, even if you aren’t planning to be an EM Facilitator, learning how to share it with others is invaluable.
EMI will continue to develop trainings for EM Certified Facilitators in the future. Loch also plans to offer adjunct trainings on a range of topics like: pain management, adhd, psychedelics, trauma, and more. These trainings will be a powerful complement to your EMF Certification and will help you nuance your offering to the world.
We have a limited number of scholarships available for this training. They are available for those who are in serious need. Scholarship applications are first come first serve and you can find the application on the checkout page after clicking the Enroll Now button.
