Join Us for this inaugural EM3 advanced training. Become a fully Certified Effortless Mindfulness Facilitator.
Dates: Sept 13th – Jan 10th
(For EM Level Two Graduates Only)
The EM Level Three Advanced Practitioner & Facilitator Certification program is an immersion training for graduates of EM Levels One and Two. The theme is Share it to Embody it. This training will help you go deeper in your own practice by putting Effortless Mindfulness into words and integrating into all areas of your life including career, relationships, and the engaged flow of daily life. It will equip you with the tools you need to share Effortless Mindfulness with others.
Whether you want to deepen your daily embodiment or you’re a coach, mentor, therapist, meditation teacher, or helping professional looking to weave this model into your existing practice, this program will take you there. The EM Level Three training will help you develop the confidence, knowledge, and vocabulary, and it will give you supportive materials to guide others to experience the transformative benefits of Effortless Mindfulness.
This is for you if you’re an EM Practitioner looking to bring Effortless Mindfulness into your existing therapy, healing, teaching, coaching, leader, trainer or helping professional practice. Whether you’re a meditation teacher, yoga teacher, bodyworker, therapist, coach, or mentor, the Facilitator Certification Track will empower you to share Effortless Mindfulness with others.
We will teach you how to facilitate and introduce this model so you can integrate it into your existing work. Facilitating means sharing the Glimpse practices that are found in Loch Kelly’s books and app from the level of your own experience and understanding. You’ve learned the basics of the EM system and now you know enough to share it with others.
To earn the EMF Certification participants must faithfully attend all sessions, dyads, and peer groups, submit a final video presentation of a guided Mindful Glimpse, and also respond to a frequently asked question in their own words. Upon satisfactory completion of the training, EMI will list your name as a Certified EM Facilitator on the Lochkelly.org website.
As an advanced practitioner of Effortless Mindfulness, you aspire to more fully embody and live from the ground of Awake Mind, Unity Mind, and Heartmind. You appreciate that one of the best ways to learn something is to teach it to others. But your personal goal is not to share EM with others as an EM Facilitator. Instead you want to deepen your practice so that Effortless Mindfulness becomes your default operating system.
Advanced EM Practitioners will receive a certificate of course completion but are not Certified EM Facilitators. You’ll take the same course, but you’re not obliged to complete the EMF certification requirements.
EM Level Three will feature special guest teacher classes with leaders like IFS creator, Richard Schwartz, Phd, Adyashanti, and more.
You’ll get an in-depth training manual, with a new chapter delivered each month, covering key EM theory and practice principles. This comprehensive manual will include scripts, teaching prompts, metaphors, and student FAQs to fine tune your facilitation and practice.
This immersive opportunity to practice together real-time—whether in-person or online—will feature in-depth dyad and small group work as well as immersion in fine-tuning the different Glimpse Doorways.
Learn and practice together in this teacher-led group environment.
Meet monthly in dyads and lead each other through Glimpses, provide feedback, and develop your EM facilitator skills.
Meet monthly in small groups and lead each other through Glimpses, provide feedback, and develop your EM facilitator skills.
Get the EM scripts with step-by-step blueprints to confidently lead 1.1 or groups through the different Glimpse doorways.
Depending on your training track, you’ll receive either an EM Facilitator Certification or a certificate of completion.
Through the retreat, daylong trainings, peer groups, and dyads, you’ll receive 52 hours of dedicated EM Facilitator training.
Lifetime access to all course replays and media in your virtual classroom.
We will feature newly-certified EM Facilitators on the official EM Facilitators Page listing on Lochkelly.org.

My goal with Effortless Mindfulness has always been to make “open source” and democratic that which, in many traditions, is considered advanced and reserved for the inner circle. I’m talking about Awake Consciousness, which is learnable, teachable, and available because it is inherent within all of us.
In Northern India, in 1100 CE, people lived in villages and shared with each other an approach to directly recognizing their true nature and basic goodness. They called it Mahamudra, the great seal. It was democratic because it didn’t rely on a guru or religion to realize it. This awake nature was pointed out one to another and shared among the people in daily life. It spread like a flame.
And today we are fortunate to have these teachings available to us, integrated with modern neuroscience and psychology.
My own experience with these methods is one of gratitude and a heart’s desire for others to experience the benefits. The way we share this in EM is not to preach but to live it and offer simple but elegant pointers so people can find it within themselves. Generosity and service are the natural expressions of awake loving flow—a dedication to the relief of suffering and the awakening of all beings.
I believe that Effortless Mindfulness points us to the natural next stage of human development, especially in these distressing times. Of course, all of us still need to do psychological work and cultivate ethics to bring together the ultimate and relative levels of our consciousness. There are different learning styles and obstacles to address. And we live in a culture that is not yet grounded in this inherently awake awareness. Naturally, that culture exerts tremendous influence on our sense of self, others, and the world.
These things don’t just disappear when we first connect with Awake Awareness. It takes practice to shift our operating system. And so we discover what it means to learn to return and act from Self Leadership. We’ll address all of this in EM Level Three.
Today, I feel confident in the development of the Effortless Mindfulness system. I see how many of you are recognizing and realizing it with transformative impact. My own life has changed. And therefore my heart’s desire is to share this widely with others.
The EM Level Three Advanced Practitioner & Facilitator Certification is about living an awakened life. Inner insights are helpful as part of the program, but they’re not the main event. As you continue to advance through the EM awakening process, it’s all about manifesting awake loving flow off the cushion rather than on the cushion.
My hope is that Effortless Mindfulness can help us build a culture that’s infused with these qualities of compassion, awakening, and heart-centeredness. And I’m so happy that you’ve chosen to join me on this journey!
With a grateful heart,
Loch Kelly

Awake loving flow is as close to a superpower as any of us might get. It evokes latent capacities that are nothing short of transformative. In this training, you’ll deepen your grounding in awake loving flow and can expect:
Join Loch for a two and half day retreat at The Garrison Institute along the Hudson River in rural upstate New York. For those who can’t make it in person, you can join the retreat virtually. The retreat will include small group and dyad work for both in-person and online participants. Retreats like this are a potent opportunity to deepen and consolidate your practice and understanding of Effortless Mindfulness.
Note that your retreat tuition is included in the program fees. If you decide to attend in-person, there are additional costs for room, board, and travel. Whether you attend in-person or virtually, you’ll have the opportunity to work in dyads and small groups during the retreat.
Each daylong training session will take place via Zoom and focus on [two] Glimpse doorways. We’ll review theory, practice, and application for each Glimpse. We’ll also explore the common questions and stumbling blocks related to each and how to skillfully support your students and clients as they navigate these Glimpses for the first time.
This is where you’ll start to practice your Glimpse presentations with others. Peer group participants will offer supportive and focused presentation feedback and everyone will have the opportunity to practice their presentations in this encouraging environment.
In the Dyads, you’ll have a more intimate environment to practice your Glimpse scripts and presentations while giving and receiving helpful feedback from your Dyad partner.
EM Level Three will feature guest teachers like IFS creator, Richard Schwartz, Phd, Adyashanti, and others. Dates and times for the guest speakers TBA.
Upon completing EM Level Three, Advanced Practitioner track students will receive a certificate of completion and EM Facilitator track students will receive their official EM Facilitator Certification.
To help you promote your work and gain clients, all certified EM Facilitators will have a listing on the Lochkelly.org Certified EM Facilitators page including links to your website, socials, and email.
As part of the Effortless Mindfulness Training Cycle, you’ll have the opportunity to join future trainings exclusively designed for certified EM Facilitators. Stay current with the evolution of the EM system.

Bringing Effortless Mindfulness into the sphere of activity by speaking about it and acting from it reveals the areas where we’re not yet fully embodying this teaching. At the heart of this is a shift in perspective where you move from receiving the teaching to being responsible for it on a deeper level. Until we try sharing it with others, there are gaps in our own embodiment that are hard to identify. This is why, even if you aren’t planning to be an EM Facilitator, learning how to share it with others is invaluable.
EMI will continue to develop trainings for EM Certified Facilitators in the future. Loch also plans to offer adjunct trainings on a range of topics like: pain management, adhd, psychedelics, trauma, and more. These trainings will be a powerful complement to your EMF Certification and will help you nuance your offering to the world.
We have a limited number of scholarships available for this training. They are available for those who are in serious need. Scholarship applications are first come first serve and you can find the application on the checkout page after clicking the Enroll Now button.
